The result of semester exams generally come to the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) – Jharkhand within 30-40 days after the examination. All the same, it is important to note that the date when the results are likely to be declared may also differ from course to course, and from semester to semester. The cut off marks for taking admission in Jharkhand's Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) are different for different courses and categories. The cutoff marks for MD courses are 550-600 for general category students, and 400-450 for OBC/SC/ST students and 500-550 for students belonging to NEET PG. For MPhil courses, the passing rate in the entrance test is 60%-70%. The institute then also looks at the candidates' performance in their qualifying exams.

The Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) – Jharkhand recognizes various scholarships for its students. Nevertheless, the full scholarship is not awarded to all students for their tuition fees. The institute provide 50-100% scholarship to 20-30% students of their total strength on merit cum means basis. The scholarships can reach as low as 25000 and as high as 1,00,000 per annum. Besides, the institute also offers some sort of allowance or monthly pocket money to its students which starts from 15000 rupees to 30000 rupees per month depending on the students.

They should have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 50% in their qualifying examination. Additionally, candidates need to clear the entrance examination conducted by the college or any other national/state-level entrance test accepted by the institutionSpecific cutoff for different entrance examinations are not available as such on the internet.

Nava Bharathi College of PG Studies provides many facilities like well-equipped library with all basic facilities and a load of books are also available there. Hostel is also well maintained and organised.The classrooms are also very good and well maintained. There are other facilities also available which includes transportation facilities, mess facilities, canteen and others.
