You can improve your communication skills in various ways: by reading English newspapers, articles on the Internet, novels, books, watching good English movies, playing vocabulary enhancing games, etc. "Word Power Made Easy" by Norman Lewis Sir is an effective book for improving one's English. Your English will gradually improve and you would be able to perform well in the GD-PI rounds.

Hello!
IIFT Delhi accepts only the score of IIFT test, whereas MDI Gurgaon accepts only CAT & GMAT scores. The cut-off for MDI is generally 95-96 percentile.

There is age restrictions, you can join as and when you clear all exams for entrance purpose.
You can contact the officials there for better support, but yes if there is more gap of years, the chances to get admission too reduces. All the best.
