You can improve your communication skills in various ways: by reading English newspapers, articles on the Internet, novels, books, watching good English movies, playing vocabulary enhancing games, etc. "Word Power Made Easy" by Norman Lewis Sir is an effective book for improving one's English. Your English will gradually improve and you would be able to perform well in the GD-PI rounds.
