The cut offs for the last year for general, SC, ST and OBC category were 79, 50, 45 and 66 percentile respectively. Having work experience is an added advantage but not a problem at all because there is no such preference or some added weightage to the percentile of the work experience people.
You need to score above the cut off percentiles mentioned and be well versed with your academics because questions in interview will be based on it.
Hope it serves your purpose. Wish you luck!

You are right that the government companies recruit students for a specific project for a period of time. But, these projects run for a long period of time. Through this project, you need to prove yourself and you need to give your best performance, so that the organization can appoint you for other projects as well. You need to prove your potential. You need the organization to feel your importance so that they can hire you permanently. After joining any private or government organization, one has to showcase and perform at their level best to retain their employment.

As I replied you previously in your asked questions that package range in IIFM is between Rs.4.5 lacs p.a to Rs.8.5 lacs p.a. Average package for 2014-16 batch was Rs.6 lacs p.a. Around 40 companies visited the institute for 80 students. Unfortunately, due to some health issues of students, the administration of the institute had to declare a holiday for 10 days. Due to this holiday, some companies could not visit the institute. Else, around 50 companies were lined up to visit the institute for placement of 80 students.
