As you have completed your class 12th with commerce stream you should prefer further commerce courses. But if you want to fulfill your dreams then you should go for it
I think the answer would differ from people to people. But most importantly you should decide what interests you more. B.Com is like an academic degree after which you have various career options I. e for Masters. B.Com would ACT like a base in your commerce field. And yes you will have to study

The Indian Institute of Hospitality and Management offers a two-year Diploma in hotel operations. You need to be a 10th grader to get admission to this course. The placement opportunities which you can get after completing this course are as follows;
1. You can get jobs in reputed hotels such as Hilton, ITC Hotels, the Oberoi Hotel, and Lalit Hotels.
2. You can expect an annual salary of up to Rs. 3 LPA with this Diploma.
4. You can work in hotel management or as support staff.
5. Depending on the hotel, your monthly salary could range between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 18,000 per month.

In IHMs you spend less as it is a public body and in Iims you would have to spend no less than 4 Lacs for the course which increases with the various cities as it is a private body. If finances is not a concern and for any reason if you'd like to join an IIHM, you can. Also please do not go as to what private colleges advertise most of the time. It's mostly over hyped.

Refer the following link for both of these college comparison https://www.shiksha.com/compare-iihm-kolkata-vs-ishm-kolkata-id-114322-306747. In the ISHM almost 94% of the students got placed compared to IIHM. So, you can opt for ISHM when being compared with IIHM.

Date not released most probably it will be June of July but to take admission in it you have to give entrance exam NCHM JEE whose application is filling from 4 Feb to 4 May and 28 may gonna be exam. Through that result you will get admission in ihm college.
