The total fee for BTech shall include a tuition fee of INR 9.6 lakh, a hostel fee of INR 4.99 lakh, and a one-time payment of INR 20,000 which includes caution deposit and sports fee. The total fee will be higher as other fee components are also added. The given fee is further as per the data collected from unofficial sources, hence, is indicative. Yes, the candidate who secures 97% in Class 12 final examination is eligible for BTech at IIIT Kottayam. Candidates aspiring to enrol in the BTech programme at IIIT Kottayam must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Also, the candidate should have a valid rank in JEE-Main exam based on which they can apply for the counselling process through JoSAA at IIIT Kottayam for the BTech programme. Selected candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at IIIT Kottayam for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.

The average package for the BTech programme during IIIT Kottayam placements 2023 was INR 14.32 LPA. Also, 100% placement rate was recorded during placements 2023 in which a total of 76 companies participated. In addition to this, the the highest domestic package and the highest international package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 58.93 LPA and INR 23 LPA, respectively.
