IIIT Ranchi has an experienced faculty. IIIT Ranchi has Assistant Professors who are PhD, diploma, and degree holders. Also the IIIT Ranchi faculty are themselves M.Tech and BTech degree holders and have worked in some of the top institutes and companies in their past. Hence, they have good academic backgrounds. IIIT Ranchi also invites faculty for guest lectures.

IIIT Ranchi has a big campus and provides various basic to advanced facilities to undergraduate and postgraduate students like well-furnished classrooms & well-equipped labs, fire alarm systems, water purifiers, PA sound systems, automatic sanitizer dispensers, and several others.

BTech and various other course students can apply for Central and State Government scholarships. In addition to this, students can apply for PSU scholarships. Eligible students can apply for various scholarships provided by IIIT Ranchi. The scholarship eligibility criteria is decided by the college and differ for different students. Eligibility criteria for MTech candidates are given below:GATE candidates: Candidates must have a BTech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent) from a recognised university. IIIT Ranchi Mtech offers two specialisations:Data Science & Artificial IntelligenceEmbedded Systems and IoTProgramme's coursework consists of courses, electives, projects, assessments, and others. IIIT Ranchi specially offers BTech as it sflagship courses. Candidates must score at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class 12 and apply through JoSAA. Then they have to appear for JEE Mains exam and apply through JoSAA. Candidates can visit the official website of the college to fill up the application form and register for JoSAA. The Cut-Off list is already out candiates can check their cut-offs for their respective programmes.
