The minimum percentile required for candidate's to score at least 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD) in their twelve years of school education. Canididates have to participate in the JEE Main exam and go through the JoSAA counselling for admission to IIIT Ranchi. Candidate with a valid scorein JEE Main can apply through the JoSAA counselling.

IIIT Ranchi offers admission for Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) courses. The fee for the BTech course is INR 8.8 Lacs and the eligibility criteria to apply for the BTech course is Class 12 with a minimum of 75 percent aggregate and the accepted entrance exam is JEE Main. There are various other fee components and for them please visit the official website of the college. The total fee for MTech is INR 2.5 lakh - INR 7.5 lakh.

Yes, students at IIIT Ranchi are eligible for various scholarships offered by the State and Central Governments. Few of the scholarships are NTPC Scholarship,SAIL Scholarship for SC/ST Students, entral Sector Scholarship of Top Class Education for SC students (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi), etc. These scholarships are offered to candidates belonging from SC/ST category, toppers, and students with poor economical backgroung.
