1) General Awareness: This section will test whether the applicants are up to date with the news (national, international, business, sports, etc.).
2) Language Proficiency: This section will evaluate the language proficiency (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and writing) of the applicants.

The fee structure for the said course is as follows:
Print- Rs 2,80,000
Broadcast- Rs 3,10,000
Multimedia- Rs 3,25,000

You are eligible to apply for the PG Diploma programme at IIJNM with the option to specialize in either Print, Multimedia or Broadcast Journalism. The last date to send in your application is June 30.

The aptitude test at IIJNM consists of three sections: current affairs, English grammar and English writing. You should read at least one good English newspaper on a daily basis and stay up to date with what is happening in the country and in the world. Once college starts, you are encouraged to read multiple newspapers, but to begin with this works.
