In NITIE, only people from engineering background are allowed to take admission. The following are the criterion for the same:
minimum 60% marks in 10th ,12th and graduation for general category. (55% for backward castes) CAT percentile for PGDIM : 97.5 for General category (drastically lower for backward castes)
GATE cut off for PGDIE: Varies from branch to branch. GATE score of more than 609 should ensure a call.
Work experience : No bar. Students in their final year can also apply (Tip: People with more than 5 years work ex should opt for executive courses like the one offered at Great Lakes or ISB).

It is good that you have 3 year of work experience, and it will surely give you more point in the admission process. You must keep in mind that different colleges have different weightage for different aspects. All the best.

It varies course wise for PGDIM it is 65 and for PGDISEM it is also 65 percentile.
