On behalf of NTA, the computer-based IIMC Entrance Exam is administered by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) in Aizawl in addition to the CUET (PG). The IIMC Entrance Exam was the only entrance requirement for PG Diploma programmes. IIMC Aizawl offers PG Diploma programmes in two specialisations. The merit list for these courses is released by IIMC. Candidates can visit Shiksha and the IIMC's official website to view the merit list. Merit-based admissions to postgraduate Diploma programmes are made based on a candidate's performance on the entrance exam or qualifying degree examination scores. Students must have graduated from an institution recognised by the UGC with a minimum cumulative grade of 45–50% for the unreserved category and 40–45% for the reserved category in order to be eligible, though there may be additional requirements unique to the institution. Admittance to IIMC Aizwal may be considered upon a CUET PG score of 75 percentile. The qualifying cutoff will be announced by NTA, however the participating institutes will publish separate cutoffs for each curriculum they provide. IIMC Aizwal has not yet released any official details on the salary packages and placement offers made during the drives. However, the salary packages offered by IIMC job are well acknowledged through various web sources. The highest package is INR 20 LPA, while the average package offered is about INR 3 LPA. As IIMC Aizawl offers PG Diploma courses, the marks of graduation will be taken into consideration rather than the 12th marks. However, total academic scores are also important during the admissions process. If you scored 60% in class 12, you might have partially qualified the criteria. The basic eligibility criteria for joining the PG Diploma course at IIMC Aizawl is that the candidates must have passed their graduation or must be appearing for the year or semester examination of their bachelor’s degree from a recognised institute or university. The age of the candidate must not exceed a maximum of 25 years.
