Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Amravati accepts IIMC entrance test scores for admission to PG Diploma courses. As per the IIMC 2024 cutoff for Round 3, the closing ranks for Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism (Hindi) was 728 for the General AI category candidates. For PG Diploma in English Journalism, the seats were filled with the release of Round 2 cutoff (610). So, considering the latest round cutoff, candidates seeking admission to IIMC Amravati must secure a rank upto 728 to be eligible for PGDM admission.

For admission to PG Diploma course at IIMC Amaravati, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are CUET PG + Counselling/IIMC Entrance Exam and candidates must meet the last educational qualification set by the institute.

For admission in a PG Diploma programme at IIMC Amaravati, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the Indian national with a valid bachelor's degree from a recognised university are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the last eduacational qualification mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

At the postgraduate level, IIMC Amravati offers one-year PG Diploma in Journalism to students. PG Diploma in Journalism is offered in three specialisations, namely English, Hindi,  and Marathi. The candidates willing to get admission must take part in the IIMC, Amravati admission process before the last date of application. No, IIMC Amravati accepts entrance exam scores for admission to various courses. Direct admissions are not possible. However, the college has a reservation policy which gives some relaxation in admission to the reserved category students.
