Yes, IIMC, Aizawl, offers scholarships to its students. However, IIMC, Aizawl, provides four types of scholarships and funding, which are mentioned below:
1- The Ratio Aggarwal Scholarship will be awarded to a meritorious female student of the Hindi Journalism Course based on her performance in the IIMC, Aizawl Entrance Exam.
2- The Star TV Scholarship will be awarded to a meritorious student of radio and TV journalism based on the candidate's performance in the IIMC, Aizawl Entrance Exam.
3- The Achin Ganguly Scholarship will be awarded to two meritorious students of advertising and public relations based on their performance in the IIMC, Aizawl Entrance Exam, and the final result after completion of the course.
4- The Jaswinder Singh Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two meritorious students, one each from Hindi Journalism and Radio and TV Journalism, based on their performance.

The admissions will be based on the student's performance in the Computer-based Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Aizawl Entrance Examination conducted by the National Test Agency. The student must have passed the Graduation Degree from a recognised University. Result-awaited candidates can also apply on a provisional basis. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Disabled candidates will have 5 years of relaxation in maximum age and the maximum age required for the Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media is 25 years. The duration of the Course is one year. The fee for the Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media course is INR 2.08 Lacs (Fees might include components other than tuition fee). Admission Process: The admissions will be based on the student's performance in the Computer-based IIMC, Aizawl Entrance Examination conducted by NTA.
