As per UGC private/state university is not authorized to award degree outside state through its study center or by franchising, I was too student of Mahatma Gandhi University completed my MBA from IIPM Mumbai, and I am too confused about distance degree validity. IIPM (Indian Institute of Planning and Management) closed all its 18 campuses across the nation in October 2015. The institute made this announcement on its official website.

It is Government of India initiative and has accreditation. Although, placements are average and audited results are not out, so it is difficult to comment on salary figures.
