After your M.Tech, your entry cadre will be that of Assistant Professor. You can make a career progression to Associate Professor and Professor later on with experience if you have a Ph.D.

If you refer to the placement statistics of many institutions, you may be able to see that the number of campus placement opportunities and the number of candidates getting placed for M.Tech are comparatively less when compared to B.Tech students. But multinational companies like Texas Instruments, Cypress, National Instruments, etc. ., and some other chip manufacturing companies do recruit M.Tech candidates through campus placements.

Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers admission to its four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme in 2017. Students who will appear for the 12th standard board examination (or equivalent) in 2017 and those who have passed this examination in 2016 are eligible to apply for admission to this Programme. Details of eligibility criteria and the selection process are provided at the "How to apply" link above. Online applications will be received at this website via the "Online Application" link during February 1 - April 28, 2017.

IISc Bangalore is a better option over IITs for M.Sc and Ph.D in chemistry. It has world class facilities, faculty, research environment and industrial tie ups. IITs are good for technology education.

Yes, IIT-Mumbai and IISC are the best institutions for aeronautical engineering in India including M Tech. Have no doubts and go ahead.

It can not be done. You will not be offered admission into IIT through lateral scheme. The reason being that Indian Institute of Technology does not offer lateral entry to Engineering aspirants. It is not possible in the IITs.
It is not just the lateral entry, you will not get any sort of admission for Engineering in the IIT. To be eligible for B.Tech from the IITs you need to appear for entrance exam called the IIT-JEE which is gonna be replaced by the ISEET next year.
In order to appear for these entrance exams you must have passed 12th with PCM as the subjects. Since diploma course is taken after the 10th standard, it is also not poss
