For IIT BHU, NIRF has released the last three-year ranking for BTech. The NIRF ranking for 2020, 2021 & 2022 is 11, 13 & 14, respectively.

The total tuition fee for BTech programme at IIT Varanasi ranges between INR 3.2 Lacs to INR 8.5 lakh. This fee only includes the cost of tuition for the BTech programme and does not consist of the mess fee or the hostel fee. The fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence is indicative. To apply for JEE Main 2023, candidates must pay the application fee of INR 1,000 for Boys and INR 800 for Girls. For detailed fee structure, candidates are advised to contact the admission department of the institute.

The hostel fee at IIT BHU is INR 300 per semester. This fee does not include electricity charges, Gymkhana, Medical, Amenities and other hostel services. A total of INR 5,000 (approx.) needs to be submitted during the admission to get a hostel and other facilities. The institute has 16 hostels for boys and girls separately.
