For 2022, the cut-off was 7083 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 13852 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Integrated BTech +M.Techin Computer Science Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi other than General category are - 591 for OBC, 279 for SC, 161 for ST, 166 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 2983 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Advanced score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) was 19296 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 11555 and closing rank was 13157. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 16619 and 21195. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 2594. In 2022, it increased to 3128. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1197 to 1274 for OBC, 729 to 807 for SC, 488 to 461 for ST, 441 to 453 for EWS, 2522 to 179 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
