Hostel costs at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi are set according to the kind of housing and are calculated on a semesterly basis. Students living in more recent hostels pay INR 23,600 every semester for seats, while those in older hostels pay INR 8,600. For all the old and new hostels, the mess fees total INR 36,000 every semester in addition to the seat rent.
