With 17200 rank, it's not possible to get into IIT Delhi for General Category Students. With 41200 rank you can get Mechanical Engineering at NIT Delhi and may get Electrical Engineering by CSAB-2.

In terms of placements, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras is better than the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. In the year 2022, the average CTC (Cost to Company) of IIT Madras was INR 22 LPA. Whereas, in terms of academics, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi's Electrical department is the best among IITs in India. Indian Institute of Technology Madras is the best in Civil Engineering.

Yes, they consider your 10th and 12th and graduation score and other than that, they also give points to your extra and co curricular activities but before that, you need to give CAT exam and score above 95 because cut off is around 90 percentile.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the oldest institutes of technology in India. It is an autonomous, globally acclaimed public research and engineering institute located in Hauz Khas.

The overall admission process for an M.Tech in IIT Delhi (regular category) is the same irrespective of your qualifying degree. Write the GATE exam. Wait for the results of the GATE exam to be declared. The PG admissions portal of all the IITs will go live within 10 to 15 days of declaring the results of GATE. The maximum marks to get admission in IIT if you have ds certificate is 10000 and the ds certificate are given very good importance because this is the best for you and as you have not mentioned the category from which you belong then I am supposing that that you belong to Open category.

No, there are various less chance that it will be converted as in IITs the cut off goes above 95 percentile and in IIT Delhi and IIT Roorkee it goes above 98 percentile. So there are very less chance for other IITs also.
