If you choose for hostel accommodation at IIT Bombay, you must pay Rs. 16,000 (Rs. 2,000 refundable mess advance + Rs. 13,000 Semester mess advance + Rs.1,000 towards Bus pass for internal transport for IITB Campus.)

Scores in JEE Mains can provide you admission in NITs and other government colleges. For admission into IITs, you need to clear JEE Advanced examination as well.

Of all the IIT's, Mumbai is colloquially considered at pole position. Hence you need to be with almost 95 percentile or more to get a seat in IIT-M in your desired stream.
Regular study of all subjects' every day and mock tests every week with analysis of result enabling less and less errors should be followed. Try to take crash course of coaching institutes. They normally teach you shortcuts cuts in answering questions.

For NASA, it is too hard to go.
But if you want to work with NASA, you will have to clear master degree and then PhD in your field. After that you have to qualify for NASA written exam and then for interview.

To get into IIT B, you have to clear two exams. Firstly JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Of course, you have to score above 75% in your 12th also. Then, for specific course in a specific IIT, you need to be in a relatively higher percentile bracket.
