In CSE branch, IIT Bombay has a better placement rate as compared with IIT Guwahati. However, in the Chemical Engineering branch, IIT Guwahati has a slighter better placement rate than IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay JAM Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most cmpetitive course was M.Sc. in Applied Geology, with the Cutoff rank of 16, for the General AI category candidates. For the OBC category candidates, the Cutoff closed for the same course was 82.If not eligible for IIT Bombay, candidates can seek admission to IIT Roorkee, with a lenient cutoff of 52, for M.Sc in Applied Geology.

IIT Bombay JAM cutoff 2024 for Round 2 has been released across multiple specialsiations. Based on Round 2 cutoff, MSc in Applied Geology turned out to be the most competitive specialsiation with a closing rank of 16 for the General AII India category. IIT Bombay MSc in Applied Geology cutoff 2024 for Round 1 was also stood at 16. So, considering both the rounds, candidates securing a rank of 50 in IIT JAM will not be elible for admission to Applied Geology course at IIT Bombay. However, candidates can get IIT Roorkee for admission to MSc in Applied Geology course with Round 2 closing rank of 52 for the General AII India category

IIT Bombay is a prestigious university with a good standard to behold. Persuing M.Tech CS from the institute is a good choice. You may or may not need to have a work experience. however, it is suggested to at least one internship/job before MBA . Placement chances increase highly after having a prior work experience.

Yes, the parents can contact the IIT Bombay admission office and they might get to stay at the guest house. The institute has guest romms in every hostel. To book a room, parents can visit the gymkhana website. If the guest room has been booked in the same hostel as that of the candidate, then keys can be collected directly from the hall manager on payment of respective charges. In case, where room is booked in another hostel, then it is advisable to go to the HCU (Hostel Coordinationg unit ) for booking receipt (signed) and then to the hall manager of respective hostel. IIT Bombay will release the list of exam centres for UCEED 2025 sometime in September 2024. Note that IIT Bombay will only release the list of exam cities. The name of the exam UCEED 2025 centre allocated to be candidate will be mentioned on the admit card. The candidate can check the list of exam cities in the information brochure. In the previous edition of UCEED the exam was administered in 27 cities across India. The candidate had to select their choice of exam city at the time of filling out the application form.
