Industrial Design Centre - IIT Bombay has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.DesThe candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1998 if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and, on or after October 1, 1993 if belonging to the SC, STor PwD category.M.DesCandidate who have completed diploma/post graduate degree graduation from a recognised Institute/ University can also apply.
Candidate who have passed the GD Arts Diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2023 is also eligible to apply.

Additionally, the PhD students also receive a QIP scholarship of INR 6,000 for a duration of two years and INR 6,400 in the third year and INR 10,000 contingency per annum. There are different types of scholarships available such as CSIR fellowship, Teaching Assistantship, Research Assistantship, and Private/Government scholarships.

The programme fee for IIT Bombay-Washington University Executive MBA Program offered in Mumbai is INR 39 Lakh. The initial non-refundable deposit is INR 3 lakh. The duration of the EMBA course at IIT Bombay is of 18-month. This professional course is offered by the institute in collaboration with Washington University. Admission to the course is merit-based. However, the applicants also have to go through a round of interview. Additionally, it is necessary that each aspirant fulfils the eligibility requirements.

Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree (BA/ BCom or other degrees) or a four-year BA, BS, BTech or an earlier postgraduate degrees such as MA, MSc, etc. with a minimum of 60% aggregate for GN/ EWS/ OBC (NC) and 55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD can apply for MA by Research.
