As per IIT Bombay cut off 2023 for JAM 2023 Fourth Admission List, the opening and closing ranks for MSc Applied Geology are 1 and 18, respectively. Also, for MSc Chemistry, the opening and closing ranks stood at 1 and 25, respectively. IIT Bombay accepts JEE Advanced scores, followed by JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. As per the JEE Advanced cutoff 2023 for Round 1, the closing cutoff rank was 966 for Integrated BTech in Electrical Engineering + M.Tech in Microelectronics programme for the General category students. During JEE Advanced Round 1 cutoff, the opening and closing ranks for the IIT Bombay CSE programme stood at 1 and 66, respectively for the General category students. As per the Round 1 cutoff, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation with a closing cutoff of 66, followed by BTech in Electrical Engineering with 463. Compared with the Round 1 2022 and 2021 cutoff, the closing cutoff for IIT Bombay CSE stood at 61 and 67, respectively. So, as per the analysis of the latest year and past year trends, a fluctuating trend has been witnessed for IIT Bombay CSE specialisations.&

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 2118. In 2022, it increased to 2119. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1149 to 1211 for OBC, 589 to 726 for SC, 504 to 396 for ST, 476 to 496 for EWS, 7 to 164 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Advanced score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering was 2119 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Bombay - Indian Institute of Technology.
