Hello Vaskar Das, it's very nice to hear from you that your dream is to work at NASA. Like our own ISRO, NASA too requires specialists in different streams like mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, medicine, metallurgy, etc. So frankly speaking you don't have to be an aeronautical engineer from IIT Mumbai to get a job in NASA. Don't feel pity for yourself for being physically challenged. There is a large number of such people who have achieved greatness in this world by sheer dint of hard work and determination. IIT Bombay is something really very big I don't think there is a comparison between IIT Bombay Aerospace with Chandigarh University because you would be experiencing a big amount of innovation and research going on at IIT Bombay which Chandigarh University can not provide you with plus the value of IIT tag is something next level.

It depend a lot on your interest as both the streams are relevant and demanding. Both institutions has brand tag of IIT. Scope wise both are equally good. Each branch has some advantage and disadvantage. For e. g chemical engineering may skip your chances of appearing in IES. I will suggest you to take decisions based on interest and future goal. Best wishes.

Hello Sunita, an interesting query. As a rule of thumb CSE at IIT Mumbai is at the topmost place of branches and IIT's. Hence closing rank is invariably below 75 or 100. As you must be knowing marks don't count but ranking counts. Best wishes to you.
