To get admission to the university, you must clear the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMUCET) exam held every year. Indian citizens are not eligible for direct admission, and they cannot get the application form from the Mumbai campus of the Indian Maritime University.

The first-year tuition at IMU Chennai-Mumbai Campus MERI is 2.25 lakhs. The total academic year fees are INR 2,000.00. Each semester costs 87,500, with an additional 70,000 per year for hostel facilities for non-residential programs. In my opinion, considering the total fees, it is a reasonable investment for a high-quality maritime education.
