Under no circumstances does the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) in Kolkata reimburse the online application fee. The institute does, however, reimburse the Seat Acceptance Deposit (SAD) following a 10% processing fee deduction. Candidates who accept a seat offer but decline admission, enroll in the program, or leave after the first semester without finishing it are responsible for paying the SAD. For candidates in the general category, the SAD is Rs 20,000; for those in the SC, ST, OBC, NCL, PwD, or EWS categories, it is Rs 12,000.
