Indianapolis campuses of Indiana University and Purdue University - some of which are more than 100 years old, were merged together creating IUPUI. This merger won IUPUI accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission in 1969. IUPUI is now Indiana's premier urban research university offering more than 450+ undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.

Students can obtain their official transcripts, in English, from their high school or other secondary schools. In case they want their credits to be transferred from another institution, they should indicate on the application form that they are a transfer student and send their college transcripts as well.
