Yes, an IUPUI placement test is required before you meet your academic advisor for the orientation. A $52 placement test fee will be charged to your Bursar bill. This fee includes all placement assessments (EAP, Math Skills Assessment, foreign language) that you may need to take.

IUPUI holds a decent graduate students' career outcome,   with 35% getting placed into a full-time job and the overall success rate, including employment or further education, being 90%. 83% graduates who were employed full-time stated that the position they were holding was related to their respective field of studies.

In order to study in the USA, Indiana University does provide financial aid and scholarships. In the most recent academic year, 71% of IU undergraduates received a grant or scholarship aid. IU students received more than $272 million in scholarships and awards. International students have the option of working both on and off campus. The Office of International Affairs on campus must provide permission for a student to work on campus. Once approved, they are only permitted to work 20 hours per week throughout the autumn and spring semesters. They may put in over 20 hours of labour while taking breaks.
