Congratulations!
All the IITs are better any day than IIIT-H on all parameters. Don't make the mistake of chucking IIT for IIIT-H. Just go through the curriculum and academic regulations of IITs and IIIT H on their respective websites and decide for yourself.

Hi Arjun, I think NITs are good for you to takes in these percentiles because you know NITs prioritizes after IITs. But while coming to low level NITs I think IITDelhi is also a better option to opt.
Thanks :). .
All the best !!

Congrats for your son's rank. But, as you are not from Delhi, so your son cannot get admission into IIIT Delhi with this rank. If you would have been from Delhi, then he could have easily gotten into CSE branch. For outside Delhi region, students, the seats get exhausted around INR. 12k. So, please try out for some other engineering colleges. All the best.

As per 2017 trends, closing rank was 17456 as cutoffs for CSE branch in OBC Category in Outside Delhi region at DTU under Jee Mains rank.
You can use the college predictor: https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
And you have very minute chance and could say no chance to get into your mentioned colleges with top branches.
Best of luck

From IIIT, Delhi or NIT, Trichy I'll prefer you to opt for the IIIT Delhi as this is the best college than NIT Trichy as in Trichy you can't that quality placements that you can get from this college plus the infra and faculty of this college is quiet better than Trichy.

I'll prefer you to opt for the IIT, Hyderabad or DTU as these are the best college from all the colleges that you have mentioned above in terms of placements, infra and faculty. You should opt for the CSE in whichever college you are getting that.

Yes, you can easily get admission in this college with this score. But, you should try for the other good colleges of Delhi, Ghaziabad and other private colleges as your score is quite good.
