B.Tech admission at NIAMT formerly NIFFT will be based on the JEE Main ranks. The counselling for admission willl be done by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA). So appear in JEE Main exam and participate in JOSAA counselling.

Marks required for industrial and production branch may vary according to category and gender .85+ percentile is a sure shot to get into this branch from general category and a male .80+ percentile may also work. However in college level counseling round the cutoff even decreases more to 75 or 70  percentile.The branch is decent. If you want to go for MBA in operations you can opt this branch it will help in future

NIT Jalandhar - Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology has been increasing in recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the general category for all India quota was 52918. In 2022, it increased to 61760. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 67642 to 70617 for OBC, 162097 to 148320 for SC, 267285 to 260174 for ST, and 59157 to 72772 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Hi Sachin, You can pursue either of the two courses. M.Tech is offered by colleges in India and MS is offered by colleges abroad. Kindly mention the location you wish to study at for more details on colleges.
