Hi Shubham,
The Designing Courses are Skill Based Programs. So they should not be treated like any other regular UG courses.
So you should study 1st year as well to learn the basics. Even if you did 1st from another college.
I do not think lateral entry in any Design School Possible.
Think again and restart.

Hello Mohini,
What CTC a student can get during placements season is a play of dynamics of multiple forces. Availability of students with correct specializations, market conditions, economic & industrial climate of the country, nearness of the college with big cities etc. In addition no college gives out details of CTC obtained by it's students. I feel that you should get a CTC of Rs. 3-5 Lacs. Best wishes.

National Institute of Design does offer scholarships to students. The fee structure is very affordable as well and it provides both Industrial design and product design.

Industrial design is wider and covers product design of different industries such as Healthcare Design, Heritage design, Human centered design etc. So, I would suggest you to join any specialization streams of industrial design from different programs.
