You have two options I. e. either job or higher studies. You can go for M Tech related to your field or any other nondisciplinary course. You can also go for MBA preferably Operations. You are eligible for M Tech in Automobile Engineering in majority of Institutes.

Hi Sachin, You can pursue either of the two courses. M.Tech is offered by colleges in India and MS is offered by colleges abroad. Kindly mention the location you wish to study at for more details on colleges.

I would recommend you University of Engineering & Management (UEM) under IEM group. Government of India, MHRD, NIRF has ranked IEM group as 3rd in Bengal after IIT Kharagpur and NIT Durgapur. The top 4 of Bengal within 100 in order are:-
1) IIT Kharagpur
2) NIT Durgapur
3) IEM Kolkata
4) IIEST Shibpur (Formerly BESU).

It is a good branch. It has some of syllabus of mechanics also. But, I will consider you, if you are getting (MCE) branch I. e mathematics and computing, then go for it, because in DTU, there are better placement opportunities. But, PAI is also a very good branch. If you are interested, then go for it.

Hi, Thanks for A2A. Both these branches are good. Also, both branches don't have anything in common, it depends on your personal interest what you want to do in future. But I would suggest you to go for ICE in NSIT. It is definitely better as NSIT is having a good placement record over all the other branches. Moreover, ICE gives you the opportunity to get placed as a data analytics along with little chances of getting placed in IT companies also. Both the colleges are good. It is up to you where you want to go.

Stream matters more than college, go for what you feel is interesting to you. Still if you go to DTU, in case you get upgradation later on after first year, that will be best but that's quite risky. So my suggestion is to go for NIT, Kurukshetra.
