Candidates can report any issue faced while filling the UCEED application form by clicking the 'Report Problem' tab that is present on the right side of the application window. The tab is highlighted in yellow colour. On clicking the tab, candidates have to elaborate on the problem that they are experiencing and also mention their registration number. It is recommended that the candidate don't wait for the dying hour to fill the form. It is because in the last few hours of the application window, there is a chance the server may crash or there may be a lag due to heavy traffic.

If any aspirant does not have birth Certificate then s/he can upload a copy of Class 10 Certificate Aadhar Card or Passport. The candidate can check the list of applicable documents in the information brochure. Alternately, they may visit this article to learn about the eligibility criteria and the list of applicable documents. Note that the documents submitted by the candidate at the time of filling out the form will be verified during counseling. Any candidate who fails in the verification process will be disqualified.

Candidates from any academic stream (Science, Commerce or Humanities) are eligible to apply for UCEED exam. However, for admission to IIT Guwahati it is mandatory for candidates to have passed Class 12 from Science stream with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. The candidate needs to carefully go through the eligibiity criteria before they apply. It is because the candidate will not be considered for admission to the B. For BDes UCEED scores are accepted in more than 30-40 colleges. While GLS Institute of Design Entrance Exam is only considered for GLS Institute. For UCEED students have to prepare two section Part A and B, both are conducted in English medium. While GLS DAT considers various parts with a interview. If you are targeting GLS Institute, then you should appear for GLD DAT, otherwise you should give UCEED Entrance exam.

UPES DAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for admission to design programs offered by the college.
