Candidates need to have a prep strategy in place to prepare for Part A and Part B of the CEED exam. While formulating a CEED preparation plan, candidates need to keep in mind important topics to study in order to ace each section of the design entrance test. Aspirants should also go through past years' CEED question papers while preparing for the exam.

Yes, IIT Bombay conducts Common Entrance Exam for Design or CEED for admission to MDes programme. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted in online mode. It is a three-hour exam conducted once in a year. Candidates shortlisted based on CEED rank have to also appear for IDC written test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted aspirants are further require to come for an interview round for final selection.

Yes, IIT Bombay accepts UCEED score for BDes admission. The category-wise rank obtained in UCEED indicates the candidate’s position in the respective category at the time of the result declaration. A merit list is released with the names of shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates have to register for counselling with a non-refundable application fee of INR 4,000. They have to provide their institute order preference. The institute conducts three rounds of seat allocation. The seats are allocated based on the applicant's All India Rank in UCEED 2024. No, candidates who have qualified UCEED can get admission to BDes course of VIT Vellore. Also, VITEEE is valid for BTech programme. Aspirants who have not qualified UCEED can appear for VIT-DAT conducted by VIT Vellore. The university evaluates the performance of the candidates in UCEED, portfolio and personal interview round for selection. Portfolio is presentation of original creative works like sketching, drawing, painting, craft works, and photography, etc.

To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously: Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. Yes, Srishti Manipal accepts CEED score for admission to MDes programme. However, it is no mandatory to qualify CEED. Aspirants can appear for SMEAT conducted by Srishti College. Applicants who have taken CEED examination can exempt from Test 1 of SMEAT if their All India Rank is 500 or below provided they are able to submit their result at the time of application.
