To avoid any last-minute unforeseen transaction issues, the candidate should pay the seat acceptance fee for a round well before the end time/date of thecorresponding round.Note that if the fee is not paid within the given deadline, the allotment will be cancelled. Also, such seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.

The candidate has to pay the seat-acceptance fee only once. If the candidate is allotted another seat (because they chose the ‘float’ option), they aren't required to pay the fee again. However, the seat-acceptance fee will have to be paid within the given deadline. Or else, the allotment will be cancelled.

The seat allotment will be provisional and will be confirmed by the admitting institutes only after the requisite fees are paid, the documents are duly verified, and their formalities are completed. If any of the steps are left incomplete, the seat allotment can be cancelled. In such a case, the vacant seats will be offered to the candidate next in the order of merit.
