The first step is to add the grade points earned in every subject, which in the example above is 7+9+8+7+9=40. The next step is to divide the cumulative value by the number of subjects. For instance: 40/5= 8. Now the final step is to multiply this number by 9.5 to calculate the percentage.

The authorities have not yet announced the NIMCET 2025 seat allotment dates. The authorities will be able to access the round-wise seat allotment result online. To check their allotment status, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Candidates not satisfied with their allotment will be eligible to participate in the next round of counselling.

The NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET), is a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission to their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program. The admission to the MCA programme to the ten NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), and Warangal and IIIT Bhopal will be based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET.

Generally, the exam conducting authorities for NIMCET do not send the mark sheet by post but they may inform the test-takers about their result through SMS or email on their registered mobile number and email the mark sheet. To be sure, candidates should download the NIMCET mark sheet and take multiple print outs till the admission process is over.

 In case candidates fail to obtain the cut off marks or rank, they may appear for NIMCET next year as well. It is to be noted that:NIMCET will be conducted in three parts with 120 multiple choice questions. Part I (70 minutes duration) consists of Mathematics (50 questions).Part II (30 minutes duration) consists of Analytical ability and logical reasoning (40 questions).Part III ( 20 minutes duration) consists of Computer Awareness (20 questions) and English (10 questions)Each correctly answered question will be awarded full marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to 25 negative mark.
