Well, you are eligible to prepare for NIMCET (National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test) if you have the following credentials, as this programme does not have any age limit:-1. You should have a Bachelor degree (BCA, BSc in IT or other related field) with not less than 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in the aggregate.2. You are doing your first semester basic mathematics and Computational Statistics as your third-semester subject; that fully suffices the mathematics requirement of the NIMCET because it requires candidates to have studied Mathematics at the undergraduate level.Just be sure tha

Yes, a student who completed High school from an Open institute can still get selected for a BCA course, as most students only require a 10+2 class board certification from a recognised board, regardless of whether it was from the open school or regular university .However it also depends on the other factors like Eligibility criteria for the specific colleges as it would vary for various institutions .Many institutions also conduct entrance exams too.So the students must refer all the factors.

Admission to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University's (BBAU) MCA General program in Lucknow is doubtful for those with a CUET score of 120. According to past cutoffs the MCA cutoff for applicants in the general category usually falls between 200 and 250 while the cutoff for applicants in the reserved category is marginally lower. Unless there are notable shifts in cutoff trends or category-specific eligibility relaxations a score of 120 might not be sufficient.

Whether it's "worth it" to go abroad for a BCA depends on your individual goals and circumstances, but generally, it can be a good choice if you want access to a higher quality education, better job prospects in the global IT market, and exposure to advanced technology and research opportunities; however, consider the high costs of studying abroad and potential visa challenges before making a decision.

If you've completed a BCA and want to pursue a Master's, choosing an M.Sc in Data Science might be a better option than an MCA if you are particularly interested in the data Science field and its applications, as it offers more specialised training in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling, which are highly sought-after skills in the current market; however, if you prefer a broader IT focus with more software development aspects, then an MCA could be a good choice.

If you didn't have maths and computers in 12th grade, you can still pursue a BCA degree from many colleges, as several institutions allow students from diverse backgrounds to enroll in their BCA programs, even without having taken maths or computer Science in 12th grade; some options include: IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University), private universities like Amity University, Manipal University Jaipur, K. J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, and SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce; however, you may need to take an entrance exam and might need to bridge any gaps in your knowledge through additional courses or preparatory
