INI CET Pattern

AIIMS will release INI CET 2025 exam pattern for January session. According to the existing pattern, there will be 200 questions in the exam. All the questions will be multiple choice type. Candidates will be given three hours to answer the question paper. There will be negative marking in the exam. For every wrong answer 1/3 mark will be deducted from the total. That is why candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confident of right answer.

There will be three sections in the INI CET 2025 January session syllabus, Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Para-Clinical. Candidates are advised to prepare all three sections in details to score well in the exam. Pre clinical section comprises subjects such as Biochemistry, Physiology, Anatomy while Para clinical includes Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic, Medicine, Pharmacology, and Community Medicine. Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Community Medicine, Paediatrics, Clinical Postings, Surgery & Allied Subjects Medicine and allied subjects, have been included in clinical section.

INI CET 2025 January exam was held on November 10 in computer-based mode. The result is expected to be released on November 16, 2024. Candidates have to register online to submit application form for the exam. INI CET application process comprises both basic and final registration. As part of basic registration, candidates have to submit basic details and upload scanned images.

AIIMS will release an official information brochure comprising important dates and details related to application process, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, marking scheme etc. Candidates will have to submit online application form for INI CET 2025. The whole application process involves steps such as basic registration, generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC), filling personal and academic details in application form, paying exam fee etc.

According to INI CET pattern, there is a provision of negative marking in the exam. Candidates will get +1 mark for every right answer while there will be a deduction of -1/3 mark for every wrong answer. Candidates are advised to answer only those questions where they feel confidence of right answer otherwise negative score may reduce the overall total score in INI CET 2025 exam.

170+ questions were easy to attempt in INI CET 2024 January session. As per expert analysis, around 10-20 %questions were image based which needed complete clarity of concepts. Maximum questions were asked from topics such as Pharmacology, Ortho, Medicine, ENT, Biochemistry etc as per students. Questions were concept based which required in depth preparation.

No, The cut off for INI CET 2023 is expected to be lesser than the last time. The reason being the question paper was easy in comparison to January session. The cut off for INI CET 2023 will be released along with the merit list for INI CET 2023. It must be noted that candidates have to score the minimum cut off percentile to qualify for the exam. The qualifying cut off vary for each category. Candidates who belong to general category have to score minimum 50 percent cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum qualifying cut off for SC/ST category is 45th.

ENT, Medicine were easy while Pharma, Gynae were most difficult as per students who appeared in INI CET 2024 exam.170 + questions were easy to attempt. Yes. INI CET 2024 July session question paper was little easy than that of January session. The overall difficulty level was moderate. Maximum question were asked from Biochemistry, Ortho, Medicine, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc in INI CET 2024 July session. Questions were concept based and clinical in nature. 

The overall difficulty level of INI CET 2025 January session was moderate. The question paper was difficult than the last time. Most of the questions were clinical based. A good number of questions were from Ortho, Phrama, Pathology, Medicine, OBS Gynae etc. Repeated question were also there.
