Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering, is a pioneer and explorer in the field of Aviation Technology. Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering, was approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India to Impart Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course in Mechanical Category B1.1, B1.2, B1.3 and Avionics Category B2 and is one of the renowned AME colleges in India.  They also provide dual courses i.e. AME+BTech, AME+BSc, AME+BCA and AME+BBA.  As the regulatory requirements have changed to meet the 21st century's challenges, the institute has also been approved as per the latest regulation of CAR-147 (Basic) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. This Civil Aviation Regulation is issued under Rule 133B of Aircraft Rule 1937 derived from the Aircraft Act, 1934 (XII to 1934) passed by the Indian parliament. Being one of the prominent AME colleges in India, IAE is providing exclusive Dual Programmes to its students in which they can pursue AME along with a Bachelor's Degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Science (B.Sc.) or Management (BBA, BCA). 

The Institute of Aeronautics and Engineering, Sha-Shib Group of Institutions has a 100% placement percentage. The group has been able to maintain high placement statistics over the years, and students have had record-breaking placements. The group offers in-house placement at its flying clubs, CAMO, aviation academy, and MROs after completing the AME course. The group's top recruiting companies include Air India, Indigo, and Go Air. Students also train in maintenance repair organizations like Air Works, GMR, and Air India. The Times of India has ranked Sha-Shib Group 50th among India's top 100 private engineering colleges for placement. 

You have to understand one thing that it is a private institute so the fees of the courses are relatively higher than other government colleges or institutes . Here the starting course for pursuing your BTech degree is around 3.9-4 Lacs rupees. The courses which are offered:- I) BTech in AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERINGII) Air craft maintenance engineerIII) Air craft licence and many others  The course fees of AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING is around 6.5-7.3 Lacs rupees. The college is quite good and offers you average placement of rupees 2.3 - 3 Lacs rupees. The on campus placements are moderate but the off campus placements are relatively good.
