IBM GLA University BA course is a three-year/ four-year (research) programme divided into six/ eight semesters. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. During the course of the programme, candidates are required to study Core, SEC, Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course and Discipline Specific Elective subjects. Students can selct elective courses in fifth and sixth semesters from diverse range of subjects.

Students pursuing BA programme at IBM GLA University can avail scholarship offered by the social welfare department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) of UP Government. These scholarships are available for students who belong to a particular category and economically weaker section of society. Students who belong to General, OBC, SC and ST categories and whose parents' annual income is less than INR 2 Lacs can avail Institute of Business Management GLA University BA scholarships.

You can not join Institute of Business Management, GLA University which is located in Mathura directly. For joining this university candidates have to give the entrance exam for admission known as GLAET. The applicant who secures good marks can only take admission in this. GlLAET consists of questions from 12th class but they are more on the tricky side. Students need to be extra smart to solve such questions. Also, it helps the management of the college to distinguish slow learner students from others.
