ICT Mumbai has well-educated faculty. Most of the faculty members of Institute of Chemical Technology are PhD holders. Not just this but the institute also invites faculty for guest lectures and also extend the opportunity to students to interact with some of the best personalities.

As per the last three years, JEE Main cutoff for ICT Mumbai for Bachelor of Chemical Engineering closed at 15295 while in 2022 it closed at 26027 in 2022 and in 2021 at 28938. For B.Tech. in Polymer Engineering and Technology, ICT Mumbai cutoff 2023 closed at 15478, while in 2022 it closed at 36459 and in 2021 at 59642. No, it would not be accepted as admissions to UG Programmes are done through MH CET or JEE Mains whereas any Masters Programme requires GATE, GPAT, GAT-B.However, those who wish to pursue Ph.D. Programs can get admission through DBT, GATE, NET, CSIR, JRF, GPAT scores.

For the last academic year, i.e., 2022, the cut off for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Dyestuff Technology at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai was 103920. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. The cutoff trend for BTech at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 79970. In 2022, it decreased to 79204. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 79970 to 79204 for OBC, SC, ST, EWS and PWD categories. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories, however, the ranks are slightly different.

Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Main score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Oils, Oleochemicals and Surfactants Technology at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai other than General category are - 79204 for OBC, 79204 for SC, 79204 for ST, 79204 for EWS, 79204 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
