You can get your B.Tech degree under lateral entry scheme from any good college, you will gain a good amount of experience also. After that, you can think of MBA. As I think, nowadays, it is mandatory to have a degree from a good college with basic knowledge in that field.

Distance course in technical subject has been under restrains lately by AICTE. I suggest you go for full time campus study as aftermath is not too colourful compared to full time. Moreover distance courses as such in technical subjects already provide hinderence in study.

Admission to Diploma in Agriculture course is based on Merit-list or Entrance-exam. Most of the colleges and institutes conduct counseling and select students based on merit list prepared by the university. Some of the reputed colleges conduct entrance examination to select students for this course admission. Entrance exam may vary from one state to another. Each college has their own exam pattern. It is indeed nice to know your intention of doing graduation in engineering after Diploma in Mechatronics. But, doing engineering by distance mode is fraught with dangers. This is because in the past, the Supreme Court of India has cancelled degrees awarded by many institutes via distance mode. Of course now, the situation has again changed, but you must be taking this course from a very well-known and recognized University only. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about such institutes offering engineering courses via distance mode.
