The Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) is regarded by some sources as Kolkata's top engineering college. The 1989-founded private college IEM grants UG, PG, and PhD degrees. It is accredited by NAAC with an A grade and is connected to AICTE, UGC, and MAKAUT.ABP Networks named the IEM-UEM Group (Institute of Engineering & Management, University of Engineering & Management) the "Outstanding Institute for Engineering and Management Placements 2023". The IEM-UEM Group was listed by Times Ranking in Times of India in 2023 as one of West Bengal's best engineering institutes. Some claim that IEM is well-known for its placements and courses. It provides courses in mechanical, computer science, and civil engineering, among other subjects.

Dr. K.N.Modi institute of Engineering & Technology (KNMIET) Modinagar is a private engineering college affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. It offers various courses in engineering, management, and computer applications. Some of the rankings of KNMIET are as follows:Ranked 251-300 for B.Tech by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022Ranked 6-25 by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) Public Institution (Govt./ Govt. Aided Colleges) in 2020Ranked 52nd among universities in India by NIRF 2022The placement record of KNMIET is good, as per the official website of the college. It claims to have placed 2570+ students in reputed companies with an average salary package of around 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiters that visit the campus are TCS, Accenture, MapmyIndia, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Jio, Wipro, Infosys, and others. 

Choosing between the MBA programs at NSHM Durgapur and AIEMD - Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management depends on various factors such as faculty, placement records, campus facilities, industry connections, and personal career goals.According to Source, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur has a student satisfactory rating of 8.7/10, and it is ranked 118 out of 178 colleges in India by India Today in 2021. They have a strong alumni base and a significant number of their graduates are working with reputed organizations both abroad and in India.On the other hand, AIEMD Kolkata has been ranked 4th among all the emerging engineering colleges in India by a survey conducted by Siliconindia Pvt.Ltd. However, I couldn’t find a specific ranking for their MBA program. In concluion, MBA at NSHM Durgapur is better than AIEMD.
