Hi there, I am sure IEM is a good university. I am sure programs at IEM would be good. I would like to add that the B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking

IEM is considered one of the best colleges in Kolkata and it is ranked in under top 120 MBA colleges in India. So the courses provided there are definitely worth it. Their major recruiters have been ITC, PWC, Berger, TCS, Naukri. Com. Even faculty members are from well-reputed places to give you the professional skillset.

The placement is nearly 100% for CSE and IT department in IEM. The other branches like mechanical, ECE, and EEE also have the good placement. Overall, the placement record is better than many colleges in West Bengal. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the mass recruiters on the campus. Adobe hired a girl at 44 lacs per annum as the salary this year.

Yes, there are chances that you will easily get it. But, you can also try for IT and CSE in JGEC. As it is a government college. Many people won't tell you, but all these private colleges are overhyped. Some 10% of people get placement rest gets placed with mass recruiters. Truth is bitter. But yes. This is an honest piece of advice I can give you.
