Dear Upasna, I do not have any idea about IEM but being alumni of LPU, I can share details of an MBA at LPU. LPU considers MAT score for MBA Admission. Let me share the eligibility criteria with you, Eligibility Criteria; You should have passed with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview

When it comes to choosing between B.Tech entrance exam and direct admission, it completely depends on the requirement of the candidate. If you are not sure of securing admission in top B,Tech college and branch with your entrance exam rank or score, it is advisable to go for direct admission.
However, direct admission in B.Tech is possible only in private colleges or deemed universities.
