It will be better if you appear for wbjee and jee mains, but in case if you don't appear in the entrance exam then you need to go for management quota admission. Most of the private colleges provide management quota admission by charging some extra fees as donation. You can visit the campus directly to get all the information. You should visit gurukul building at sec 5 for more details. Best of luck.

Civil is much better than IEM in RVCE, Bangalore, as IEM course is introduced new under VTU also outside Karnataka, Placements:
About 85% of students are placed every year. The highest salary offered was 4 Lacs per month. Least salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month. The average salary offered was around Rs 70,000 per month.
