Different colleges have their different programs to get selected students they want like Delhi University conducts its own exams like JAT. Some of them take admission according to the marks you have got in your class 12 result.

You can wait for your rank to come out. You can try to estimate your rank from previous years data given on many websites. Don't have high hopes. 30 is not a good score so it will be difficult to get admission in the good colleges. If you don't want to pursue engineering then go for any honours course, but if you are confident that you want to pursue engineering then you can sit and study for a year and then retake the WBJEE. Don't get disillusioned and find a good mentor who can guide you, not a tuition teacher but a mentor.
