No, direct admissions are not available at this institute. To be admitted, candidates must pass the appropriate entrance exam. The IEMJEE is the approved test for BTech, BCA, and BBA programme admission. Additionally, the university takes entrance tests from national and state levels, such as the WB JECA for MCA and the CAT/MAT/JEMAT for MBA. IEM Kolkata admission crieteria is entrance-based. Candidates are selected and admitted based on score in the respective entrance exam.
