For the exact fee, students are advised to visit the official website or the admission office of IET Lucknow and confirm the same. No, admission at the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow, cannot be taken without appearing for CUET-PG. The IET Lucknow admits candidates into its MBA course based on the applicant's performance in CUET-PG, followed by the procedure of UPTAC counselling. However, they need to be qualified enough to appear for the CUET-PG exam. Only then are they eligible to apply for the MBA programme and for further counselling procedures, by which seat allotment is done. There is no direct admission to IET Lucknow without the entrance examination.

IET, AKTU being an institute depending on the state government of Uttar Pradesh has moderate fee structure. The total cost of B.Tech and MBA courses is between INR 1. 38 Lacs to INR1. 44 Lacs p. a being cheaper as opposed to other private engineering colleges. However, accommodation charges, extra fees such as hostel fees for (?60000 – ?80000 per annum), travel expenses and other eventualities are incurred.
