Minimum 45% required in class 12th with Mandatory Subjects: Mathematics, Physics. Candidate must have studied any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, and Biology as optional subject. The B.Tech lateral admission are done for candidates who secure minimum 45% of marks in 3-4 years diploma from a recognized university sanctioned by U.P board of education and participate in UPSEE. Hence, you are not eligible here.

As per my experience and knowledge, you can get admission for B.Tech, because for B.Tech, the main requirement is that you have to pass class 12th with science stream.

The B.Tech chemical engineering (Lateral Entry) opening and closing ranks in IET, Lucknow in male category are as under:-
1. General category OR=45 and CR=372
2. OBC category OR=372 and CR=566
3. SC category OR=1666 and CR=1831

Sorry to say, but with this much of rank you will not get IET. You should have at least below 1000 rank to get IET. Don't worry better luck next time and try hard for your future.
