Yes, you can get it mission but for that you have to crack entrance exam if you will do so then you can easily get admission.

The B.Tech lateral admission are done for candidates who secure minimum 45% of marks in 3-4 years diploma from a recognized university sanctioned by U.P board of education and participate in UPSEE. Hence, you are not eligible here.

As per my experience and knowledge, you can get admission for B.Tech, because for B.Tech, the main requirement is that you have to pass class 12th with science stream.

The B.Tech chemical engineering (Lateral Entry) opening and closing ranks in IET, Lucknow in male category are as under:-
1. General category OR=45 and CR=372
2. OBC category OR=372 and CR=566
3. SC category OR=1666 and CR=1831

If you are general, then you have to score under 500 rank to get EE.

Congratulations, for scoring such rank. Most probably you will get IET if not in 1st round, but on next round. Don't get disheartened. You have nice rank so you can get Government College.

Sorry to say, but with this much of rank you will not get IET. You should have at least below 1000 rank to get IET. Don't worry better luck next time and try hard for your future.
