Both institute is good for certification. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and technology.  ARIET has a well-equipped campus with state-of-the-art facilities. The college has a library, a computer center, a sports complex, and a hostel. The college also has a placement cell that helps students in getting placed in good companies.  Suvidya Institute of Technology-SIT- The highest package offered at Suvidya Institute of Technology-SIT for the 2022 batch was 12 LPA. The offer was made by Google to a student pursuing Computer Science and Engineering. The average package offered at Suvidya Institute of Technology-SIT for the 2022 batch was 6 LPA.  Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the prestigious technological institutes in Kerala offering NBA accredited programs (CSE, ECE, ME, EE) and having industry collaborations with the top Techno Giants and international collaborations with various universities abroad.The ASIET has recently launched two new programs in B.Tech, namely, Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) and Robotics and Automation. Admission for the same is based on the entrance scores.The institute also offers certain Add-on Certification Courses along with MBA, M.Tech and B.Tech degrees from the well recognised foreign universities and business schools. However, admission to the MBA programme is purely based on the entrance examinations. 

Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET) offers 18 courses across three streams at UG, PG, and PhD level. UG courses include BTech. At PG level, the college offers MBA and M.Tech courses. Admission to the courses will be based on national or state-level entrance exams. As per the official website, the college also offers 12 certified and 82 add-on courses accommodated under Adi Shankara Skill Kendra (ASSK). In collaboration with IBM, the college offers six add-on courses, namely Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Blockchain, etc. In ASIET placements 2020, 324 companies participated and offered opportunities to the students.ASIET is currently accepting application form for BTech, M.Tech and PhD courses. Candidates can apply online on the official website of the college. The college accepts national-level entrance exams like GATE, CAT, etc., for providing admission to PG courses.

Between the two institutes, FISAT is the better choice due to its longer history dating back to 1997, its stronger faculty with PhD degrees, its academic reputation with autonomous status, and its higher rankings. Moreover, it provides increasingly in-demand specializations like robotics and AI. The larger campus, strong corporate contacts for placements, and Kalady location, which may suit some students better, are some of ASIET's benefits. Although ASIET is also acknowledged and may be appealing depending on some characteristics like prices, location, and placements, FISAT is superior in terms of total engineering education quality and exposure. Before choosing between these two institutes for their engineering education, students should conduct a thorough analysis.

In terms of factors like total placement, average wage, number of recruiting organizations, and the largest package, Federal Institute of Science and Technology does appear to offer greater placement prospects. Another benefit is the increased industry representation across all sectors.Placement percentage: More than 80% of students from all branches have been placed at FIST. ASIET has a placement rate of roughly 60%.Recruiters: More than 250 reputable organizations, such as Microsoft and Infosys, are hosted by FIST for placements. Less than 100 companies are attending ASIET.the highest package: Microsoft's 43 LPA package is the highest package available at FIST. The ASIET's the highest package is limited to 20 LPA.Average package: For FIST, the average placement package is between 6-7 LPA, however for ASIET, it is between 3-4 LPA.Sector-wise placements: FIST offers core engineering positions in the manufacturing, energy, and construction sectors with businesses like BHEL, L&T, etc., while both have placements in IT and software.
